My Journey
I’ve walked the path you're on. With an MBA from NYU Stern, I landed job in prestigious firms like Lehman Brothers, FactSet Research Systems, and HD Supply. However, despite my success, I struggled to find fulfillment in my work.
After devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, I jumped on the opportunity to move there to contribute to the rebuilding process. I faced immense challenges and my initial ventures failed, leading to struggles with self-doubt and fear. Despite everyone suggesting I return to the US and take a corporate job, I felt it wasn't the right path for me.
Over the next few years, I managed to leverage my finance experience to co-found and serve as CEO of Haiti's first private equity firm. I've invested in numerous businesses in Haiti and Jamaica providing strategic guidance and management support to help numerous business owners grow their business. I also started several successful businesses, including a beauty salon and spa chain that employed over 100 people.
